Course intro:
This Health & Safety for Employees training course is a Half Day/can be adapted to be a full day webinar/office based programme, designed to provide participants with the knowledge of their responsibilities regarding health and safety in the workplace.
ALL HEALTH AND SAFETY COURSES ARE TAILORED TO EACH CLIENT TO SUIT THEIR PARTICAL NEEDS AND REQUIREMENTS
All hazards in your workplace are identified within reason and we assess risks from these hazards
Course content
- Discuss the employee responsibilities of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005.
- Evaluate the requirement of the 2007 General Application Regulations on the employee.
- Discuss the employee role in regard to Safety Statements and what is contained within.
- Evaluate the employee’s role in hazard identification and risk assessment.
- Identify and be aware of as many hazards as is reasonable to mitigate the potential for harm.
- Completion of risk assessments
Intended audience
This Health & Safety for Employees training is suitable for all members of staff to provide an introduction to occupational health and safety.
Entry requirements
Minimum age- 18 years old
Minimum English requirements: Leaners must be able to understand and convey the concepts contained in the programme content.
