Description:
CPR involves:
- Recognisingthat someone is having a cardiac arrest.
- Contacting the emergency services on 112 or 999.
- Pushing hard and fast on the chest.
Every year in Ireland thousands die from cardiac arrests – 70 per cent of these happened in the home.
This CPR & AED Course gives all teaching and support staff the basic techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and the relief of choking for adults, children and infants.
