Basic First Aid - Course Details
Course intro:
This Basic First Aid training course is a 1 Day public programme, designed to provide attendees with practical first aid skills to treat bleeding, fractures, burns & cover medical emergencies that you may face. This may be a introductory course towards the 3 day First Aid Responder Course certified by (PHECC) but not mandatory to be completed in advance.

- Maintaining safe systems of work.
- Medical Emergencies Management.
- Brief introduction to circulation wounds and bleeding
- Management of nose bleeds etc.
- Application of dressings to wounds.
- Management of heart attack/Stroke.
- Introduction to CPR/AED.
- Management of choking casualty – Abdominal Thrusts.
- Management of unconscious casualty – recovery position.
- Management of burns and application of dressings.

Who is the course intended for:
This Basic First Aid training programme may be beneficial to all persons or companies that have a requirement for basic first aid. There is a legal requirement in companies to have appropriately trained First Aid Responder/s.
Entry requirements
Minimum age- 18 years old
Minimum English requirements: Leaners must be able to understand and convey the concepts contained in the programme content.
